Oknha Tan added that MBCC was proud of its achievements and noted that there were some pretenders who were not legally registered in Cambodia but elsewhere with a similar sounding name, out to cause confusion to Malaysians and others alike.

“MBCC is the only Malaysian Chamber registered and officially recognized by both Cambodia and Malaysia and has already gained good rapport and reputation from the Cambodia authorities for various activities and collaborations with various agencies such as Council for Development of Cambodia, General tax Department, Cyber Security Threats with the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications and land mine clearance with the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA).

This year’s Chinese New Year dinner was the largest yet of such events with more than 350 people in attendance along with representatives from other chambers.

After a terrific karaoke session, the event ended at 1030 pm Saturday.
